“If your heart was the inn in which Jesus was to be born, would there be any room?”

Happy Monday! One full week of advent down.

Love you guys a ton today. Hope the start of your week is productive, fun, restful, and hopeful.

Let’s start by asking ourselves self again:

“If my heart was the inn in which Jesus would be born, would there be any room?

Think. Inhale. Exhale.

Repeat.

Cool. Now let’s meet our next advent inspiration.

Today’s Bible Project Advent Reflection:

If you haven’t started it yet click here. Then add Chelsea Hugel as a friend so she can invite you in to read it/discuss together in the app. Search Chelseahugel@gmail.com

In a Nutshell:

Romans 8:18–39

Biblical hope is not just for humanity; it’s for all creation. Jesus’ resurrection provided a glimpse of how the whole universe will one day be restored.

Reflect:

  • In this passage, what specifically do the children of God and creation wait to be realized? What will be completed on that day? What do you think creation will be like when this hope is finally realized?
  • What are you suffering right now? How does this passage encourage you in the midst of your pain today?

Complete today’s devo in the bible app.

Young Life Daily Challenge:

  1. Share your answer to one of the reflection questions in the Bible app “talk it over” section.
  2. As a reminder and picture of the healing and restoration that our hope is in, your challenge is to clean or fix something today! Something big or small. I for one should probably clean out my car. Do it and send a pic in the groupme or it didn’t happen!

Much love, fam. Signing off with a Lin-Manuel tweet today.
